The only previous visit to White Hart Lane by FC Bruges was for a UEFA Cup second round tie on November 7, 1984.
They arrived having won the first leg 2-1 on October 24 with goals from Jan Ceulemans (6 minutes) and a penalty from goalkeeper Birger Jensen (83 minutes). Clive Allen scored for us five minutes from time.
We won the seond leg 3-0 here through first half goals from Mickey Hazard (5 minutes), Allen (27 minutes) and Graham Roberts (35 minutes). The crowd figure was 34,356.
Former Spur Jonathan Blondel is currently on FC Bruges books. He joined us from RE Mouscron during July, 2002, aged 18, and made four senior appearances before joining FC Bruges during January, 2004.
